CMA Annual Conference
The Canberra Mathematical Association Annual Conference is being held on Saturday, 19th August. It will be a day of talks and workshops for all year levels.

MAV Talent Quest 2017
The Maths Talent Quest (MTQ) is an annual activity aimed at promoting interest in mathematics and fostering positive attitudes amongst students, teachers and parents. The focus of the MTQ is on the process of mathematical investigations and relating mathematics to everyday life.
All students from Foundation to Year 12 can enter the Maths Talent Quest.
The Maths Talent Quest allows students to investigate mathematics on an individual, group or class basis with the opportunity to have fun exploring mathematics.
Judging will take place from Thursday 24 – Tuesday 29 August 2017 at La Trobe University.
The entries that receive a High Distinction at state level are judged separately, one entry from this group is forwarded for judging at the National Maths Talent Quest.
